Rendering and Operational Preferences

It is possible to customize the appearance .

One way to set the main rendering options it to use the following toolbar

With this toolbar is possible to choose:

These six options can be modified inside the “Properties Form” as well.
This window can be displayed just selecting Edit > Preferences from the menu bar.

The window contains two tabbed pages: “Rendering” and “Colors”.

The “Rendering” page controls the options relative to the rendering of geometric objects inside a 3-D background.

The Mouse Sensitivity specifies how the mouse movement is translated into the movements of the objects in the site. The greater the sensitivity, the greater the change in the object’s movement.

The Vector Length is the length of the X,Y and Z vectors of a position, in pixels. You can specify any length. This will effect how the positions will be shown inside the viewport.

For example, to change the color of the grid displayed on the viewports, select the “Grid Color” voice inside the list, and click on the “Change…” button to change the color.

To view the effect of the options changed, click the “Apply” button.

The “Load” and “Save” button are used to load or save the options in a file.

The “Save as Default” button sets the current options as the new default setting
